Custom Timber DJ Console

Designed and built to spec for a discerning client, this piece neatly channels our obsession with the interface between mid century design and contemporary style. A little bit 1924, a large streak of 1974, a slick 2024 finish, and built to endure, we wager this DJ console will still be looking the part in 2124.

This DJ console neatly encompasses two classic Technics 1200 decks and mixer, houses more than 500 pieces of 12 inch vinyl and comes with an end section to display currently playing cuts. Embedded and cleverly concealed lighting and electrical channels give the piece the sleek luminescence it deserves and enable easy switching on and off of lighting and audio components.

Made from Australian hardwood reclaimed from building projects in Melbourne’s inner north and finished with natural hard wax oil, this vinyl station is as sustainable as it is stylish. Hints of the timber’s origins are left exposed for a piece that knows where it’s come from as well as where it’s going.
